Manly Man Cards

There are a bunch of "guy" birthdays in our family during the fall and since it is a zoo around our house at this time of year, I decided to take some time this past weekend to get their cards finished. There are birthdays from brother-in-laws, to uncles to a few friends and they are all receiving the same card!  The odds of them seeing this post are zero, but all of their wives/girlfriends will see it, "wink, wink!"
I used the stamp sets Wetlands and (background stamp) Hardwood.  Again, two stamp sets that have been around for about a year and I just used them on Sunday. Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze are awesome together... had to find that combo on the color coach... needed a bit of inspiration from that awesome tool!  My favorite part is the On Film (132969) framelit.  What an awesome gem that is.  I have used it many times and I love the clean look it has, and it's so easy!
TIP!  I always cut my cardstock into 3x3 (love note size) and it fits the frame perfectly.  That way, you don't have to "try" and line things up.  Simply cut the cardstock first, center and then stamp your image and it fits with just a hint of a border.  The framelit also embosses the cardstock (see the Cajun Craze cardstock above) with some ridges, just like the 70s classic, the Polaroid.
FUNNY! When I asked my son what to call this post, he said, "Duck, Duck, Goose." Gee, thanks, Cole, that's helpful.  Although it's better than what I've got.  Sarah
