Happy 50th Birthday, Robin!
Happy Birthday, Robin! My dear friend has the BIG 5-0 today! I have worked with Robin for 20 years and I can hardly believe that all that time has passed. Robin stamps and scrapbooks and is the best Disney tour guide I have ever met! On a funny note, I remember planning her surprise 40th work party, seems like yesterday! Have a great day, Robin! This card was made with the banner framelits and the stamp set Amazing Birthday and I dusted off my Pacific Point colors too! Sarah

Good morning!
Good morning everyone! After all of the rain yesterday, the morning kinda looks like this card! I wasn't sold on this stamp set, but after looking at so many great samples, I stamped this card and a few more like it! I used some bright colors here and as the summer comes to a close, I'm already reaching for the fall colors, so this card was an end to a great summer! Sarah

For my Coffee Friends
I have made this card many times in many different color combos but this one is my favorite! The picture it a bit too close, but you can probably see the coordinating In Colors, Baked Brown Sugar and Crisp Cantaloupe. I have used that 3/8 stitched satin ribbon many times and it works for casual and formal cards. This stamp set, Perfect Blend is a classic, very fun to play with!
Does anyone like their cantaloupe crisp? I prefer soft, with salt!

Manly Man Cards
There are a bunch of "guy" birthdays in our family during the fall and since it is a zoo around our house at this time of year, I decided to take some time this past weekend to get their cards finished. There are birthdays from brother-in-laws, to uncles to a few friends and they are all receiving the same card! The odds of them seeing this post are zero, but all of their wives/girlfriends will see it, "wink, wink!"
I used the stamp sets Wetlands and (background stamp) Hardwood. Again, two stamp sets that have been around for about a year and I just used them on Sunday. Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze are awesome together... had to find that combo on the color coach... needed a bit of inspiration from that awesome tool! My favorite part is the On Film (132969) framelit. What an awesome gem that is. I have used it many times and I love the clean look it has, and it's so easy!
TIP! I always cut my cardstock into 3x3 (love note size) and it fits the frame perfectly. That way, you don't have to "try" and line things up. Simply cut the cardstock first, center and then stamp your image and it fits with just a hint of a border. The framelit also embosses the cardstock (see the Cajun Craze cardstock above) with some ridges, just like the 70s classic, the Polaroid.
FUNNY! When I asked my son what to call this post, he said, "Duck, Duck, Goose." Gee, thanks, Cole, that's helpful. Although it's better than what I've got. Sarah

Love Blackberry Bliss
In keeping with the In Color theme, I made this card this past weekend for my stamping friends that attended my open house a few weeks ago. The stamp set is Too Kind and even though it's been around for a year or so, I never had the chance to use it! I'm hooked now! I'll have a few more samples ready to share later this week! Sarah

Heidi is in the house!
Good evening everyone! I have a treat for you today! Sista Heidi shared this for today's blog post! Yahoo! LOVING the New In Colors used here, Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon. The stamp sets featured here are Big News and Flower Shop. Love that sparkle! An added touch is the envelope behind the card. The envelope liner framelits are awesome and they really add to the whole card experience! Thanks, Heidi and congratulations to the couple! Sarah

Cupcake Birthday
I had a chance to stamp tonight and I made some birthday cards with my favorite stamp set, Cupcake Party (134123). This was the same card that I used for one my convention swaps as well. It seems that I never have enough birthday cards on hand, although I am not the best when it comes to actually sending cards either. I know, crazy. Other items showcased include the DSP, Sweet Taffy and since I'm not a "fussy cutter", thank goodness for Framelits (Chalk Talk used here)! Sarah

Yeehaw!
How cute is this set? It's the new photopolymer stamp set for August. If you need more information, see it here. I took a picture of these two cards at convention. Aren't they the sweetest? Photopolymer is an alternative option for stamp sets that many stampers enjoy (the other options are wood mount and clear mount of course). Haven't tried photopolymer yet? Take a peek at the video below and soon you'll have rootin' tootin' good ole' time! Sarah

Celebrate the New Blog!
Hello! Time to celebrate, the blog is back! Tell everyone you know! I can't think of a better way to kick off this special event than to share a completed banner with the Celebrations Basics Kit (133007). Love this kit for all things celebration! This banner is adorned with plenty off embellishments from the Bermuda Bay Celebration Add-On Kit (133432), as well! One of my favorite things to do is celebrate and Stampin' Up! celebrates the best. Along with my fellow Stampin' Up demonstrator friends we will share all sorts of ideas that will fit your celebration needs. We are excited to inspire, create and share our celebrations with you! Sarah
